Ok...we have lived in our house now for 3.5 years. Since DAY 1 I have wanted to take out half of the forest growing on our lot. We have (had) 24 HUGE oaks and pines....now only 11!!! See below...
Here is a shot of our house/lot BEFORE the harvest. Yes, that is our house sandwiched between all of those trees. The tallest pine is still standing, but the tallest one harvested was 120+/- feet and 24 inches in diameter.

This big boy is limbed, topped, and ready to come down!
He never flinched 120' in the air. I flinched the whole time and my feet NEVER left the ground.
This definitely won't make a homeowner nervous.

Finished product! We still have a fair amount of trees, but now it doesn't look quite like we have trees growing out of our windows. The updates are not complete...check back to see what else we will do to our place.
